I have had a little move about and now my pc is a bit unstable.
only picked it up and mover it 2 feet, had all the wires of it and put them back on, yes they are all in properly. But now it wont boot up properly.
It seemed ok and was nearly completly booted when it restarted then went through many restarts , safe mode options , blue screen of death , windows file missing report and then it made it after 1/2 Hr. thought that it was now OK and had the same problem last night when I booted it up.
Its a 5 year old P4 on XP home.
Do you guys think its the m/b or XP. or the PC sulking coz it knows a nice new Quad core rig will be in its place by the weekend. was hoping to keep it for a back up and surfing. Oh well.

it is defraging as we speak ( I hope ) will have a properlook at it over the weekend, got a spare HD so will try a fresh install of XP , If I cant get it back stable what is the best cheep board to run a E2140 or 2160 on. want to clock it a bit but only for £50 realy.

if I do the fresh install it will be on a spare drive I have, and it will be while I play with my new pc. I just want to know why it chose now to play up and why.
I wont be turning it off till I get my new rig up and running as it might not even post next time.

New PC arrived today, But wont work so its going back to overclockers tomorow.

I had to turn off and unplug my old one base unit to try and set up new one , then had to hook it all back up again. funny thing is it now works as it should and I'm sure its smiling at me.
Hope overclockers can sort out the new pc while I wait. Was well chuffed with it , till it wouldent post.
