Hello new member and beginner in to oc.
ryzen1600X ,mobo ax370 gaming 5, ram 2x8 team dark 8pak 3200mhz ,gpu 2x msi gtx970 running in to sli, PS corsair hx1200i. cpu cooler be quite dark rock pro 3.
Currently got oc cpu to 3.9mhz without touch voltage its staying on auto in bios and its cycle around cpu vcore 1.38v-1.404v cpu vcore soc 1.212v cpu vdd18 1.056v cpu vddp 0.888v-0.900v
ddr is xmp enabled and run at 3179mhz to 3204mhz at stress.
cpu temp iddle between 25C without load and go up to 46-48C when do stress, gpus are oc 140mhz on core and 500mhz memory just powerlimit is 110 no touch voltages at all.
So im need help to can hit 4.0 even max 4.1 on cpu already have trying but didnt understand how is work exactly adding voltages and do crash when trying some test and how much to add to cpu vcore for Herts up etc.
any help guide is wellcome thanks.

Try installing Ryzen Master Software. You will be able to tinker with it without having to go into the BIOS. Once you have it dialled in on Ryzen Master then you can go into the BIOS and set it permanently.

I found that I could stress test my 1700 on Ryzen Master at 3.9GHz using just 1.33v with temps at 60°C under full load and under 40°C when gaming. I then set that in my BIOS and it's running great.

got installed ryzen master will do some changes but can you tell me aboute cpu voltages how to proceed there for example now im running at 3.9 without touch voltage if i rise it up to 4.0 how much to add on voltages vcore/soc/vdd18/vddp or to test it just without to touch volts

So just rise up to 4.0 all additional voltages are set on auto amd be quite off C state off ram is set xmp profile 3200
from gigabyte app center monitoring tool cpu temp is 25-30C cycles cpu vcore 1.404v cpuvcore soc 1.212v cpu vdd18 1.056v cpu vddp 0.888v
to this time no issues just playing at GTAV also have done few times stress test for aboute 5-10min in time and benchmark of cpuz temp jump 54-56C
already try to push to 4.1 but start crashing also then try to play around voltages but no luck....
maby 4.0 is max of this cpu... for pure clean clock and air cooler..

You should do stress testing in Aida for at least 20 minutes both CPU and memory then only you can determine if overclock is stable. I would not run soc @1.212 24/7.

thanks gonna trying.
now im aim to found out how much can drop voltages for 3.7 max 3.8 just got oc ram its running at 3666 ax370 gaming 5 voltage of ram is 1.35 tmming 16.18.18.18 32 58 T1 team dark pro 8pack 3200 2×8gb
if there some one can help for some suggestions aboute min voltages i could apply will be great also im intresting how could increases more multipiler.

Is your RAM running 3666Mhz or 3066Mhz? If the latter this kit is capable of running 3200Mhz CL14 with ease.
For reference I am running 3.8Ghz with 1.35V, set that for reference stress test, if pass go back to bios lower by 0.05, stress test and so one. This can take a while.

yes is ruuning 3666mhz. and kit is 3200 cl14
with correct timings ram can be set from 3200 to 4000 what i read around forums. now i sett it back to 3444 cas16 is fine also but im need to found to take increase in to bclk to take pass 105 and multipilier 43+

current settings

any suggestion please for improve i want rise multiplier over 41+ and is look like ryzen1600X give best results around 3.9 oc with 3200mhz ram or im wrong. temp is fine when di stress and bench 44-46C.

if you were doing rendering , 3466+ does help when doing a 3+ day render- gaming not so much I dont think. Places extra stress on the cashe which my limit your core OC speed

Worth trying real world benching, such as valley- 3d mark to see if faster ram with slower Core speed or Higher core speed and lower ram is actually faster for gaming. If you've got any games with bench marks run them .
would happily settle for 4.0ghz , 3200hz and low CL :D

also try running Asus RealBench as well - if it passes then your fine for gaming
