HELP : Windows Vista Problem

Ok guys not sure if this is the right place to post this but here goes -

a friend is running vista on his computer and he is struggling to get SGLAC to work (sgl anti-cheat) it just keeps crashing when he tries to connect to a server so he gets kicked from the server due to not running SGLAC.

just wandering if anyone knows of a way around this? or if anyone has got the 2 working together?

*note this is for cs 1.6 based servers

Could be a problem with the programe not compatable with vista ?

You could always ask in the games forum, I dont run cs so cant help you mate.

If it's anything like punkbuster you will need to right click on the program icon and go to properties -> comaptibility and set the privilege level to "run this as an administrator" this will allow the program to scn the system for cheats, something it can't do in non admin mode. Might do the trick

hmm mite give it a go, tho it's not a cheat scan as such, it's basically a screenshot client that enforces 32bit quality (so it's harder to see through smokes) that quite a lot of leagues and servers are now enforcing!
