Help windows won't. boot

I tried to install a third party theme now windows 7 won't boot. I've tried a system recovery and repair but it just doesn't boot. Any ideas?

Oh and restore. Nothing seems to work.

what happens when it try's to boot, do you get any errors or anything?

Boot in safe mode and find the offender then remove it. Reboot you should be good to go.

I cant get into safe mode. I can get it to system restore, it then says successful but wont restart. Tried booting From original CD but hangs when looking for a restore point.

When it try's to boot it gets past the windows logo then nothing happens.

When trying to fix/repair from boot it says windows can't fix the problem.

Any ideas?

if you press F8 when its booting does it give you a list of boot options with last known good configuration?

if so try that and see if it then allows the PC to boot

Good news its working.

Today the boot priority gave me the safe mode options and looks like one of my previous restores worked.

Thanks for all the help guys, man I hate it when this stuff happens.
