Help with 360 controller

Hi mates, I have got an elite. And my black controller is working fine, it connets to the xbox.

But when I tried to use my other white controller, the x icon just keeps flashing and unable to connect to the xbox.

Any ideas?

Press the sync button on the 360 to the right of the memory card slots and then the sync button on top of the controller by the play and charge kit socket.
