Help with 7850 overclock.

Hi I have a gigabyte hd 7850 windforce x2 graphics card. After browsing the forums it would appear that this card is very capable for overclocking. However when I try to overclock the card by even a tiny amount it crashes my system and gives it a blue screen. What am I doing wrong?

You need to up the voltage a small amount until it doesn't blue screen under load. If you use some soft ware like msi afterburner than this is very easy as it just uses sliders to change things. keep a eye on the temperatures though when increasing the voltage and up it in tiny amounts.

Can it blue screen from to much voltage for the clock speed I have set it to?

no too little voltage will make it blue screen too much voltage will make it overheat.

What are your system specs and what clocks are you setting on the 7850 (and stress program, 3D11, Heaven etc)
