Help with a £350 build

Over budget... so are yours if you include the shipping.

Since this is a hypothetical build is really that important if the motherboard may or may not have SATA cables included, and there is enough in the budget to cover them.

Hypothetical, it wont work without sata cables. :p

Nope, I'm never happy. I only see one sata cable and no I/O shield for my "hypothetical dilemma". lol

Remember to sign in next time lol

Look let's get this straight. B grade is a used item returned that can't be sold at full price and has a shorter warranty with OCuk. It's a first come first serve deal, my mobo is out of stock but can be ordered and the parts come once all is in stock ;)

I think us regulars have done pretty well to be fair :D

• RAM: 2GB DDR3
• Graphic card: DirectX 10 or 11 compatible Nvidia or AMD ATI card,
ATI Radeon 3870 or higher, Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT or higher.

• OS: Windows 7 64-bit

I pretty much think all our builds run this "game" comfortably :p

All of the builds above will hit min spec. Recommended spec may be a bit more of a challenge for £350.

You sure that the 6950 is correct?

Definitely hitting the min spec and a little over. I just double checked and it's right 6950.. on a £350 budget must be crazy they alone cost £160+.

Done a bit more tweaking.

As long as the build is only going to remain on paper this will do, BUT the PSU and case are very poor quality. As long as your lecture is not looking at it too closely, and doesn't know too much about building PCs it should be ok.

sounds like his got the requirements off 'Can You Run It' lol.

i dont go uni, im 27 and little old lol, but doing something like this for class sounds like fun, yeah be even better if you can build it, but just as fun like you was doing the same for a car like.

Case is a bit pants, and i'd refuse to use the included PSU.. but yeah! my attempts!

Yea it's pretty good and would definitely be more fun if we had to build it, wouldn't be a problem in my class either there's 40 of us if we all chipped in a tenner it would be enough.

Should have great fun with that PSU fly ;) It might explode when they power it on! :p

Haha luckily it won't be built but if my lecturer actually goes away and builds it I will lol
