Well the motherboard will take ivybridge cpu when it is released by intel next year and the psu selected has plenty of power for even the best GFX cards.

An important factor is the resolution your mointor/tv uses?

But on the plus side the cpu is very fast in games compared to equivalent price competing products such as the PhenomII 955BE/965BE,

my monitor is 1920 x 1080, i always leave it set to that, not sure if its best to tho, not really played many pc games

Well I just looked at various 6850 card reviews and the frame rates in games tested at the resolution you use are very playable, but as with anything in life, the more you can throw at a problem the more effect it has.

90 day? do cards normally break quite easy? is that one better?

if i turn my resolution down to 1680 wouldnt it look quite bad?

Well a stock 6850 and GTX460 1GB are rivals, but that MSI is overclocked higher than usual, cards don't normally break and often if there is a problem, it appears early on or as soon as you try to use the PC for the first time.

It looks to be roughly 10% faster than a standard GTX460 1GB card at a close resolution to what you use and that will be due to the clock speeds it has out of the box.

Well actually the cheapest 6870 currently for sale at OCUK is £25 more than that GTX460 from msi

It has got a custom cooler and uprated voltage circuitry and the quality of the individual components is of a higher quality also, this all means you can overclock this card further and harder using this program from msi,

saw that someone had it to 950mhz, dont think i would want to mess around with that kind of stuff, i have no idea how to even put a pc together yet

I have had a look and must be looking in the wrong places as I can't find a good WOW test using modern cards, but theres no way a simple game like that can be taxing for that pc spec.
