First off this will be a gaming pc. I'll only be playing mmorpgs (gw2 mainly atm) and Some fps. Id like to build my own but I do not have much experience, how hard is it? Finally I would like to be able to play gw2 on ultra,. So that being said is a budget of 600-800 pounds for the tower sufficient enough to get the system I want with a 120 gb ssd able to handle gw2 on ultra. Any help greatly appreciated..

I'd suggest going for NZXT 410 or 530 Enthusiast case.
They are in mid range and very classy imho.
As for the rest, building your own rig is great fun as long as you follow basic steps, 1 by 1 and avoid stupid mistakes, like rushing. Take your time, have patience and it will be ok.
Btw, you can play GW2 on ultra without many players around, but if you go to WvWvW you will notice that fps will drop no matter what.
I had 2 GTX 660ti in sli, 16gb ram, oc'ed 3570k and still had some performance issues in WvW.
One advice, best have some plans for SLI/Crossfire in the future, or single but better gpu.

Oh really how come?

I did a build in one not so long back and found it quite pleasant!

It's nice enough to build in, I just found it to be a bit flimsy, particularly the side panels (mine bend under their own weight!) and as a result it's a pretty loud case (this is completely subjective though mind you,) fan noise gets through a lot and there seems to be a fair bit of vibration noise too, particularly from the HDD trays.

And I have found it to be a bugger to keep clean on the inside. unless you are filling all the fan mounts for positive pressure, which is LOUD to my ears.

I switched to Fractal Design Define R4 and it is worlds apart.

Saying that, could all be true, as it was lovely to build in, I've not actually seen it since ;)

As stulid mentionjed, BF Ronin is quite nice, not had the pleasure of seeing one first hand though!
