Respawning...
Long story short, friend of mine wants a new PC. Wants to game on BF3, thats the most demanding game. Budget of £665 MAX. No need for monitor/keyboard/mouse/speakers GO...

Please...

what size monitor/resolution are you going to be gaming at ?

edit:

i'd make a few changes to fire flys spec:

swap out the gfx for the ocuk version
don't get the after market cpu cooler
drop the motherboard to an H61 version

then use the spare money to upgrade the processor to the i5-2300.

i have still gone with the i3 as bf3 will benefit more from the better gpu (see here) and if your mate wishes to upgrade in a year or so then it will just be a case of slotting in a new i5 processor and possibly a new cooler.
