Hi, i am getting an OCZ Vertex 120gb delivered today and was hoping someone could help me with a step by step guide to installing this correctly.
I currently have 2x WD 500gb HDD's, so i assume i have to format these.
I understand i have to disconnect those and just have the SSD connected and set AHCI in the BIOS.
What i am concerned about is do i need to update the firmware to the latest and i am unsure how to do this prior to installing windows 7.
Also do i use the ASUS BIOS update tool after windows has completed.
As you can see i am a bit muddled with what to do so that i complete everything correctly and would really appreciate help with a step by step guide from the stage im at now so that i do not cause any problems.
