Help with a refused credit card application

I'm sure I'm overlooking something obvious, but, why do you need another credit card when you have £1800 interest free lying around? Sure you "don't like to be minus" but you'll be losing money by paying the interest. Just seems a bit daft to me.

what should i do when i need to make a £1000 payment and i have -£1800...

or perhaps when i want to buy food so i dont starve?... where are the bills going to be paid from? so i could probably keep the account in -£1000 but thats £29 only

most importantly my savings account pays more than the credit card BT fee.. so its fine, its not costing me anything

I think you'll find they do, even if it's in the T&Cs. Funny enough, it's to stop exactly what your suggesting.

what i mean to say is that they dont stop you, they dont check anything, and they dont really care. when i asked the guy for the overdraft, he was like how much you want? i regret not asking for more!

and proof is that i didnt pay any loans in for the first 2 years, just small amounts so if your going to jump out and talk nonsense about its impossible then stop

Yes, I see your point and I even agree that sometimes using BT on CCs is the most cost efficient method, but I would still look at alternatives before going the CC route.

indeed, depends the figure though, my credit card balances are way to high to consider overdraft, certainly not loans...

ps im a bit drunk, have an exam tomorrow... thus the short memory about the lies!

you use part of the £2.2k left on your credit card (that you're no longer paying interest on)

But as I edited my post when I noticed (yeah i'm slightly drunk too!), you're not the OP applying for another CC, so it's a moot point

grrr.. im not paying interest on the credit card.. i paid a BT fee, and then i have 0% interest for 16 months, i hope that solves the problem...

this would have been much better on skype, i didnt intend to write this much

thats about everything pretty much cleared up, unless the OP has questions, im going to knock myself out
