I'm up and running, he's run into issues. There isn't any video signal using either the onboard or discrete GFX card (HDMI and DP). Troubleshooting but there doesn't seem to be a screen with error codes, instead coloured LEDs.

Edit - never mind, he seated his memory incorrectly.

Just a heads up There's no onboard graphics with AMD unless there's a g in the cpu name like a 5600g.

Lol he was greeted with a 'Windows 11 can't run on this computer' error message, but we're both up and running. Liking that tool to modify W11, thanks again everyone

It basically is a must if you want to run Win11 without any of it's ****.

The in OS adverts really bug me. I didn't pay for my windows (using a key from ages ago that came with my rig) but I still don't want adverts. There's a reason why I pay for Youtube Premium.

Win11 is fine otherwise. It improves on Win10 in some key regions and if I could modify the boot menu to look like Win7, i would be a happy bunny.

Quoting myself as I posted my last reply in the wrong thread...

He's run into more trouble. Gamed fine for a little while but now he gets no GPU signal when launching anything that needs the GFX card. Reseated, new drivers and a new install - still persists.

Edit - 3080 RMA'd and he's jumped up to a 3090 in the meantime.

Hhhmm just got the 3090, same problem. Must be the PSU or mobo?

ide go for better ram seen as you are already spending so much or maybe even just ait till ddr5 amd is out or go intel and get ddr5
