Current loop is Xspc x20 750 (pump & res) - rs360 rad - cpu block - 7950block and back to res.

Am adding a second 7950 and have bought the block in anticipation.

The x20 is not powerful enough to cool everything and is too noisy for my liking :(

I also believe that I should also add a 140mm rad - keeping the 360 and will be using existing tubing - new fittings would be in order I think.

Thoughts please ref:-

new res and pump (silence is what I am looking for and should be no problem fitting whichever type into the 800 d case - do like the look of the d5 with ek res and top which ocuk do:)).
+ single rad
+fittings
and given the fact that the idea is to leave the 360 in the roof and to place the new rad at the rear (inside with fan sucking air from the outside through the new rad) - best run?

I think you'd be better off sticking a 240 rad in the lower compartment.

If you did go with the 140 at the back, set it to exhaust, otherwise you'll just be feeding
the hot air into the 360.

As for the pump/res. I'd go with the EK/D5 res combo too unless you fancy a Photon D5 or something.

Do like the look of the Photon D5 :)

Rad in bottom - not sure that a 240 would fit that easily but a 120/140 would - am thinking EX120 with fan blowing through rad and out of case.

Would leave the existing 140 fan at the rear sucking cool air into the case :)

Am thinking of connecting the 2 7950's using an Aqua Computing twin connect - I assume that the plumbing for this would be , say , in at top left + blanking top right and out bottom right + blanking bottom left - nothing otherwise?
I am looking to fit my creative sound card between the two gpu's and I think this would just fit provided the twin connect is dead flat?

Run, when done - pump/res - triple rad in roof - cpu - gpu 1 - gpu 2 - single rad - pump/res. Sound good?

Also have decided to go all round compression fitting - xspc black chrome:) - when they get them back in :(

The Twinconnect I/O would depend on whether you're running it in parallel or series I think.

Have a google image search for 800D 360 240 :)

Thanks :)

I'll check with the shop before buying the twin connect.

The image search will help - I've bookmarked and will give it a thorough look over tomorrow.

If you're not using the drive mounts in the bottom of the case you can fit a 240 rad on it's side. It will mount without too much modification to the side of the drive cage.

Here's a couple of pictures I took of mine.
