Hello everyone!
Just want to ask your help with the PC Build.
My budget is flexible 2000-3000£
Havent had a modern desktop for many years, just used laptops all that time, so im not quite sure what is best out there.
But i few things i want in my build:
1.First of all PC case as small as possible for a mid tower as my desk space is limited. Quite important space desk for me. Prefer white colour
2. AMD 9800 3XD CPU - yes i know its best gaming CPU atm.
3. 9070 XT GPU - i was impressed by AMD new generation of GPUs so want to go with it. Preferable Sapphire Pure or Pulse, which one is white to match the Case?
4.Motherboard - to be honest i havent got a clue here. All i think of to get a decent X870 new generation of motherboards with USB 4 and WiFi 7. Also in white.
5. RAM - configurator ob OCUK doesnt have 6000 Mhz C30 version of RAM. I think G.Skill is best? Im looking for 64 GB 6000 Mhz C30 as its considered best for cpu. 32GB x2 best right? Correct me if im wrong here. As long as its plug and play with best performance out of the box.
6. SSD - 4 TB high endurance SSD.
7. Liquid cooling and fans? im not sure whats best here, all my hope on your recommendations for this build. Not sure how much fans in the case i will need. maybe with oled display cooling.
8.PSU i heard recommended 1000W just so i can have future proof if i ever upgrade to high end UDNA GPU for example. Not sure which brand got best quality here.

I was trying OCUK configurator but many options are missing there, like no 6000 Mhz ram c30 or no decent x870 Motherboard apart from highest most expensive Crosshair version, which i think not needed for my build. its way overpriced imho.
Also there are no 9070 XT cards choice in configurator atm, i guess its sold out for now.

Thank you!

Hi there,

OCUK can absolutely create a build to your needs (though unsure in regards to stock), send them through an email (after a list has been created). The fee is around £200-300 (potentially more for a high end build)

The white Sapphire card is the Pure.

Any particular reason you are looking for 64GB RAM? 32GB is perfectly ok for most tasks.

1.First of all PC case as small as possible for a mid tower as my desk space is limited. Quite important space desk for me. Prefer white colour
Which dimensions is the space limited? Modern MATX cases tend to be wide and deep, but not tall. ITX, well, that's complicated!

I would recommend sticking with Micro-ATX because ITX cases may have more restrictions in your choice of: PSU (e.g. limited length, or even SFX instead of ATX), graphics (due to length restrictions), motherboards (availability and price of ITX boards can both be bad) and cooler.

3. 9070 XT GPU - i was impressed by AMD new generation of GPUs so want to go with it. Preferable Sapphire Pure or Pulse, which one is white to match the Case?
Sapphire Pure is white. Powercolor do a "Spectral" hellhound, ASRock have a white card too.

32GB x2 best right? Correct me if im wrong here
Correct, 4 sticks is best avoided. 48GBx2 and 24GBx2 are also options.

As long as its plug and play with best performance out of the box.
It is not. Enabling XMP/EXPO is officially overclocking, but it is rare that a CPU can't run at 6000.

7. Liquid cooling and fans? im not sure whats best here, all my hope on your recommendations for this build. Not sure how much fans in the case i will need. maybe with oled display cooling.
I generally put cases in my builds that have fans bundled, because that's the best value.

The X3D does not need an AIO, a £23 freezer 36 or £35 peerless assassin can do the job.

AIOs are often chosen anyway, for compatibility (especially in small builds) or looks. System builders use them a lot too, which is perhaps for the best when shipping a 1-2KG lump around in a box of fragile parts.

8.PSU i heard recommended 1000W just so i can have future proof if i ever upgrade to high end UDNA GPU for example. Not sure which brand got best quality here.
I wouldn't stick with a brand, just go whatever has a good deal. Hwbusters do lots of detailed reviews.

I generally suggest Antec's HCG Pro for high-end builds (it is derived from Seasonic's Vertex, minus 2 years of warranty), but this is not cheap. The TUF Gold is cheaper at OCUK and it reviewed fine at Anandtech.

4.Motherboard - to be honest i havent got a clue here. All i think of to get a decent X870 new generation of motherboards with USB 4 and WiFi 7. Also in white.
You don't have to think too deeply about it really, unless you want something less common, like lots of M.2 drives.

There's a spreadsheet linked to here, that you may find helpful:

HUB did a roundup here:

Thank you for your reply!
I actually like how Gaming Zirconium Ice build looks, but i would like to change motherboard there from old Asus Strix 650-A Wifi to more recent Gigabyte X870E Aorus Pro Ice and also to change PSU to

Corsair HXi Series HX1200i 80 PLUS Platinum ATX Power Supply.

Might give them a ring and see if they can arrange that.

Thank you
