Hello,

After doing research I am looking to go with the AMD build and want to use the below as a template but I’m not to clued on the best bang for your buck with certain parts and what works best together such as certain mother boards etc. This will be my first pc and rgb lights would be a nice bonus if possible. I am looking to go to around £1700 and will also need the following extras:

Keyboard, mouse, monitor, wi fi,

I will be using the computer to game, won’t be a elite gamer but want it to be decent on graphics if possible. Will also need Storage for photos and editing of videos.

Potentially. I did look at some videos before and I didn’t think it looked to bad but of course worried in case I messed anything up. If there was any video or person you thought was particularly good at checking out to help build I would be happy to look

Yeah, there's a YouTube channel called Paul's Hardware, he's great at explaining everything to a first time builder. Just do a quick google search of 'How To Build a Gaming PC in 2019! Part 1 - Hardware Basics' (I'm not sure if i'm allowed to link it myself)

Thank you I will check it out. If it can help me get more for my money then happy to try
No worries. My advice is to watch a few videos, do a bit of research, and ask questions on here. At the end of the day it's your money and no one else's. Don't feel the need to jump right in and buy something right away; there's always something new right around the corner in the pc hardware market.

That's a generous budget.

Get a good monitor of a size that suits you as you'll hopefully be looking at it a lot! (you could have course use a TV to get you started)

Motherboard and PSU are not to be skimped on.

Everything else can potentially be budget if you choose and then upgraded later.

Case, keyboard and mouse are entirely your own choice... Just chucked some decent ones in for sake of it for now. Monitor is also something you can decide on, you may want to go 1440p instead.

Mobo has built-in wifi. Bit of RGB here and there. 1TB M2 for your OS and games. 4TB HDD for your storage/videos etc.

Just a quick spec I've thrown up before I go to sleep. :p

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £1,690.94 (includes shipping: £18.12)

The gpu and monitor are more than I would spend but that says more about me than anything else.
not quite sure what you mean. it's well within budget...more so if you get the monitor elsewhere.
so i don't see why you'd get something inferior for the same price.

Sorry for any misunderstanding. I agree I would not pay the same for inferior.

I wouldn't personally pay that much and consider budget to be a max and not a must spend all of so would go a bit more budget myself, personally.

I like your choices and believe I said so.
