Help with ATi drivers

Hi all

About 10minutes ago, i downloaded the latest drivers (6.3s) for my X800XT-PE.

I dont use the control center, so i just went to add and remove and removed "Display Driver". Everything was going good. I restarted when prompted. And waited for windows to boot. When i got to desktop, i installed the 6.3's and restarted once again. This time however, my pc doesnt load. It gets to the loading screen for XP, but then reboots. It never loads windows.

I'm in safe mode at the moment, and i'm gonna try the 6.3's again. I was just wondering what could be causing this?

Right, its doing it again.

Gonna try the 6.2s

that's odd. have you tried using driver cleaner on it?

Havnt used driver cleaner no, but the 6.2s are working

Must be something wrong with the files i downloaded or something

could be, or a compatibility error caused by files that were left behind from the 6.2's becasue uninstalling them doesnt always delete everything. That's where driver cleaner comes in
