So, last night, I chucked some new bits into my PC. Just a fan controller, some new fans, and a TRUE to replace my old zalman 9500.
All is well last night.

I go to turn it on this morning, and it hits the endless "not posting/constant restarting" issue.

I try clearing cmos. It posts, i get into bios setup, it turns off. Rinse and repeat.

I try reseating my ram, and into different slots, still no luck. I try reseating my graphics card, no luck there either.

I didn't have time to try anymore this morning, as I had to elave for work, so I left it off, and unplugged. So, any ideas?

Specs are as follows:
E6600
Gigabyte 965P DS3 (revision 1)
2GB G.skill HZ 6400
8800GT
Tagan 520W modular PSU
2*250GB Seagate 7200.10s
1*WD 160GB (can't remember the exact model)
DVD drive
DVDRW drive

In a PC7+II case.

Cheers for any help.

Try unplugging a few non-essential devices , like the seconday HDD, optical and some of the fans.. See if it boots then.. If so, one of the devices is causing your restart.. could be drainning to much power. As a start..

Do you get any POST beeps?

well, sometimes I got post beeps, sometimes I didnt. the unplugging unneccessary devices was next on my list, although I didn't have time this morning.

But cheers any way. Any other ideas?
I'll also be trying it with just one stick of ram later as well.

Last time i added a fan controller to a pc, it was a multi fan contoller, the power drain was so much that the PSU could not cope. I would try removing it first.

You don't have time to check then you ask for any other ideas? It's in the process of elimination .. Dear Watson.

My thinking is with the PSU. Have a read through this..

basically, i'll be attempting to deal with it this evening, when I get back from work. I have been assembling a mental checklist of this to work through, and this thread was for advice and in case i'd missed anything off.
