Hi all. Having read some other threads I've come up with this. I was wondering if anyone had any opinions.
I'm looking to spend £500-£600 on a new PC. I want something that can run most games, though i'm not too fussed about being able to ramp everything up to max detail. Obviously on a budget I'm not going to get that.
I also want it to be vaguely future proof and upgradeable. Hopefully to last me a good few years.
YOUR BASKET
1 x HIS HD 7850 IceQ X 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card (H785QN2G2M) w/ Nexuiz, Sleeping Dogs & Dirt Showdown PC Games £149.99
1 x Intel Core i3-3220 3.30GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W) - Retail £95.99
1 x Gigabyte Z77-D3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard £84.98
1 x OCZ ZT 550W '80 Plus Bronze' Modular Power Supply £63.98
1 x Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB SATA 6Gb/s 16MB Cache - OEM (ST500DM002) £49.99
1 x BitFenix Outlaw Gaming Case - Black £39.95
1 x GeIL EVO Leggera 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (GEL38GB1600C9DC) £35.99
1 x OcUK 22x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) - OEM £17.99
Total : £551.46 (includes shipping : £10.50).
I'm not sure whether I want/need a SSD or not. The only affordable one seemed to be at 128GB which I fear isn't much room by the time i've got an OS and WoW installed. I could always use my current hard drive for working files, and I have a seperate server to hold TV programs, music, etc.
Monitor/OS/KB&M not required.
Any comments welcome
