Hi Guys I need some help with build part choice.

Im wanting to upgrade to Ryzen once Vega comes out.

Im hoping to keep some of my currant part to save some money, let me know if I should replace any of them.
Case - Phanteks primo (Im thinking of customising it a little to give it a new feel)
SSD - Samsung 850 256GB
PSU - XFX 850w Black
Cooling - Custom 360 Black ice Gt Stealth noctua fans (pull push), Ek Supreme CPU block, Phobya DC12-400 PWM Edition 12Volt Pump, Phobya Balancer 250 silver nickel

The rest im really trying to get the best bang for the price,
CPU - I would like to get the 1700 but it all depends on the price,
MOBO - Im not sure on which to get at the moment, my first choice is the gigabyte K5 mainly for the design. Asus also looks to be a good option.
RAM - I don't know a lot about ram but i was thinking of getting 16GB 3000Mhz Ram
GPU - This is something I have no clue about, Since the price increase ive been a little lost, Im look for a mid range Card but its all down to price.

Please give me your options

Hi

What are you going to be using the pc for ? If it is just for gaming then the R5 1600 pretty much performs as well as the 8 core R7 1700.

If you don't plan to SLI then a good B350 board will do fine. Something like the Gigabyte B350 Gaming 3.

A 3000MHz kit should be fine for the Ram.

If you plan on 1080p gaming then a GTX 1060 6GB can handle that. Or you can spend a bit extra on a GTX 1070 which would also allow you to play at 1440p.

The B350 board might need a bios update if you go with the R5 cpu. Just make sure you ask OCUK if it has the latest bios flashed to it before you order as some people have had issues with earlier bios revisions.

Thanks for the reply,
Use - Gaming, some editing & creating (music, movies, images) streaming, watching movies, multi tasking.

I wont SLI I just just upgrade to the next level cat but does the X370 not offer anything more ?

Yes you can overclock on the B350 boards.

Something like this would be good. As I mentioned above just make sure to ask if it has the latest bios flashed, so that it plays nicely with the R5 1600. A few people have had issues getting it to post correctly otherwise. If you are going to go with the 8 core R7 1700 then it should be fine out of the box.
