Just made new PC for first time, everything seems to work fine, although im not 100 percent sure on the wiring.

when i plug it in to the monitor i get no signal?

im using i5 2500k, Asus GTX 670, 8Gb DDR3 Ram and 700w PSU

Help please, il take pictures if that will help

Have you given the GTX670 both 6pin power connections?

You are connecting the monitor into the video card?

yeah i have, do i put both of the 6 pin connectors back to the CPU?

there is also a slot on the motherboard that says EAT12V and i havent got that connected to anything, i think i need it to be

Yeah, the motherboard will need a 24pin ATX and also a 4/8pin ATX connected near the CPU socket.

The GFX card must have both power connections.

Yes.

If you are using a SSD, make sure the SATA controller its attached to is set to AHCI in the BIOS.

new problem :(
On Bios it only has the option to boot from my HDD it cannot see the CD

The CD is brand new, the tray opens and closes and seems to spin im not 100% sure

also it has my CHA_FAN1 as N/A and my CHA_FAN2 is in the red, is this maybe an error on installing them?

What is the motherboard?

Have you plugged a SATA data cable from the motherboard to the DVD drive?

Are you using a SSD?

i cant get the sata to fit the dvd drive, ther is a red cable that goes to the dvd drive that fits fine and its from the PSU or i got it with the box, but there is only 2 slots there

A SATA DVD drive requires two cables.

• SATA power from the PSU
• SATA data from the motherboard to the drive.

If you look at the ends of the cables, you will see they are shaped like an "L" so will only fit one way into the drive and the motherboard.

iv got it working but i unplugged a red sata cable and it wont go into the one onthe motherboard and iv booted my pc up and it seems fine, do u know what it could be ? its either part of CPU or i got it in the box

too make more sense out of that.

i bought a spare sata just in case and used that between the DVD drive and my Motherboard

i originally used a sata cable that i think might have come in the case or comes from the CPU, that is now just sitting in the case not attached to anything.

it doesnt seem to have effected anything though,
