Help with compression fittings please ,,please

Guys I would really like to try theese out ,


What size fittings do i need to take 1/2 inch tubing ?

Is this what i need as all my connectios to the block are 1/4 inch

I don't think there are any compression fittings available for 1/2" tube as of yet... only 10/8mm and possibly 3/8"... unless anyone can show me different?

That fitting you linked to is for 10/8mm tubing.

When you say 10/8mm tubing what is that in imperial sir ?

1.5mm smaller than 3/8" so definately not what you need

just use barbs, everyone else with 1/2" tubing does, they are perfectly secure if you use clips

1/4" threading is nearly universal now, only really Thermochill use anything different..

The problem with compression fittings is that they usually only take thin wall tubing, but a company called BitsPower have started to make some G1/4 1/2 ID - 3/4 OD compression fittings.

They also do G1/4 3/8th ID - 5/8th OD compression barbs which I've bought. Not a competitor as I'm listing the actual product name .

just use barbs as said. I find them much quicker to use and I have used both.
