Im currently running on stock cooling on my stock fx6200 , my idle temps are around 38c and shoot up to over 60c when doing the slightlest thing like converting avi to dvd etc My cores are stock in bios and not even unlocked , default bios settings. I have a corsair H60 being delivered should this drop the temps or is it my bios thats out ?

1st pic idle, 2nd pic after setting a film to convert after 3 mins.

8gb ddr3 -1333
Asus M5A7BL
GTX 580
Corsair TX650

tia for any advice :)

Ive just installed h60 and its bought temps down to 48 under load , only 1 case fan in front drawing in. That my next investmentment :)

Thought max tem p for fx6200 was 62c?

from what i heard about 70 is max temp for the fx6200 but i am not really up to date with amd cpu's. when you do anything is this an instant jump in temps or does it rise up to it?

on the stock cooler it was pretty much instant but since installing the h60 it creeps up , think the highest ive seen it go since installing h60 is about 52c , gonna get some more ventilation in there i think . Should this bring cpu temps down further though or just overall case temp . Sorry for noob q`s. Worth using push /pull on h60 also?

Converting AVI to DVD isn't a slight thing at all for a CPU, for a stock cooler those temps are probably about what you'd expect. Your H60 temps now seem fine so I wouldn't worry too much :)

ok i now have a push/pull on my h60 and installed some new case fans , OC`d to 4.2Ghz.
I have ran an aida64 stability test for half hour with no probs what so ever . So my questions are do my cpu voltages look ok ?(fx6200) and any other tests i should run ? thanks for your responses so far guys , great help :)
