On the front of the card all you need is your name, contact details and a clear title which explains what you do, the card needs to be quickly recognisable as being yours too.

That is exactly what you need on a card, he was talking about listing out services, thats wrong, its like any add, it becomes information overload.

You should have as i do one mine, company logo / name / qualifications (Depending on company) Address / E-mail / website / Telephone / and perhaps a one liner on the company at most.

It should only have a few select colours.

Do you have any belonging to people working in IT? Just so I can get a few ideas for mine.

If not, anything 'technical' if you have it would be excellent.
