help with DEP errors

hi im pretty desperate to find out whats goin on here and it doesnt help that im total nub when its comes to fixing stuff ...

so... ive been gettin DEP errors that are triggered by Windows explorer ..... so i managed to d/l a trial of Norton and it said i had vundo and deleted or 'fixed' the files ... then the crashes started again so i look around and get ShellExView once in there i disable a few shellextensions one in particular called awvvw.dll. When it is disabled my computer seems to not want to crash. If i close shellex it crashes and if i refresh my shellext list awvvw becomes enabled again.....

if anyone can help id really appreciate it

Tried disabling dep? This is the reason you shouldn't use norton.

well, on this thread i was checkin if DEP is disabled then whatever is crashin in the first place can then run any dodgy code from (supposed) secure areas.

also altho norton sucks the problem precedes me installing it ....

id rather try and sort this out instead of ignoring it.

hmm just tried vundo remove,exe it seems that the .dll mentioned above can be permanently disabled ...
