I recently purchased a SyncMaster B2230 monitor to replace my old Syncmaster 223BW as I accidently busted the screen last week. I used a DVI connection on the old monitor for nearly 2 years without problem. However, when I connect this thing it isnt recognised. It doesnt even post so I am currently using the RGB port.
As of tomorrow though, I will be going from an old ATi 4850 on XP to an Nvidia GTX560Ti, i7 2600k and Win 7. I have 2 questions. Will I still have the issue when I upgrade everything? Can I fix the current issue with a fresh install of XP? (Im giving my current rig to a colleague for free so he can start to PC game
