Hey,

mother board died today (cpl/mofset shorted and it's burnt/melted and completly ****ed) not sure if cpu or anything else is dmged yet and have nothing to test with (aside from hdd and psu).

So need a 755 socket mobo for a q6600 (G0 stepping), 8gb of dual channel ram and a 4870x2. (so needs corssife support i think)

Overclocking is not a massive issue i never really do it.

Can anyone spec me suitible replacement.

Idieally cheap or just some good ones, hoping to get one second hand but not sure which chipset etc to get.

Thanks guys :)

edit: on ps3 so sorry for typos/spelling

Baically the pro features a better chipset cooling assembly, also. On the standard p5q board, the 24 pin atx power connector is very badly located, right at the back near the pcie slot, this can make things a bit akward for cable management.
