I have a firewire port on the front panel of my case and want to set it up on my mobo ( P5N-E SLI ). There are 9 pins on the mobo and 8 tiny plugs on the cable from the case.

Can someone please help me as to which plugs go on which pins.

I have:

3 X Black Ground
1 X White Cable Power
1 X Orange TPB-
1 X Red TPA-
1 X Green TPA+
1 X Blue TPB+

It doesnt show anything in Mobo Manual either in my box or online.

Pins on the board are set up like this:

Your advice will greatly be appreciated :)

Cheers Billy mate....

I have added the right leads to the pins but there is still a grey looking 'ground' lead that is left as I have 2 grey and one black 'ground' lead

I have the 1394 enabled in bios and it shows on my network but no traffic is passing through it when I play my dv camcorder through it.

Would anybody know?

Many Thanks :)

Edit: One thing to mention is that when xp found the hardware when I booted up I got Data Execution Prevention pop up.
