Help With First PC Build Components

@Plec Haha guess he is a big fan of watercooling. I have never had watercooling so if the Noctua matches the performance of it then I would prefer to stick with air. Well thanks guys I think I am all set now, I have my set up, just need to order it then attempt to build it haha

U12A is stunning !

If you need it slim though. Using @Plec Bequiet pro pro shrinking it .

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £78.68 (includes shipping: £8.70)

9700k is fine for both. But 9900k will get them hot, so eisbaer 360

Master is a cracking board, one of the best on board audio

Both should allow RGB of Corsair 4000hz to show and Master should run it at that speed too

Dark Rock 4 is the in-between :)

You would be nuts to go with Intel right now, especially the 9900.
Wait for the zen2 reviews, your potentially chucking money the wrong way.
@orbitalwalsh and @lee32uk, posited the idea - but OP wants INTEL. If he has the funds (and clearly does), and he's researched his options, you have to respect the decision then ideally try and guide him towards the best INTEL build for his money (regardless of our personal preferences).

Orbi, has tailored the build and reality is he'll be happy for a good many years...

I'm honestly not a big fan of Ryzen as I have never used anything other than Intel so I would prefer to stick with it if possible.

Thing is. Now we are getting competition... We are entering a cycle. Intel 10 core Q4 along with speed increase. Zen3 which is the one I personally believe is the sucker punch 7nm+ EUV, then intel 10nm which matches the node production quality of 7nm EUV . Bring IPC increase and speed..

Next 18 months is going to be fast paced , then consoles throw a spanner in ... Almost smashing the need for a Gaming PC :/

Yes i am well aware OP has said he wants intel, but most folk say that out of ignorance of what they could have with AMD.

OP requested help with build, opion given - intel is NOT the way to go anymore.
Preaching to the choir - I was only pointing out what had been discussed and why. You clearly read the thread - rare quality, trust me.

Trouble is, you can run the risk of 'raining on someones parade' - as it were - if they're happy with their choice/decision, if they've committed to a build. Difficult balancing act...
