HELP WITH FLE BAY PLEASE

It takes 5 - 7 days to reach your account, so they have the ability to stop it, annoyingly, but when it's in your account, they then have to prove they didn't get the item (if you can prove they did, they obviously have no argument), and file a claim.

If the tracking site states that the item has been delivered, the next port of call for me would be to phone Paypal up. I believe they will require the tracking number as proof, and if all that is in order I can't see a problem (unless it's a suspicious buyer funds scenario like I mentioned above).

just got his phone number from ebay. and got his mum she said he is out playing football ? at 11pm?
I did that as a lad...

TELL HER! Seriously, tell her what the hell has gone on, ask if he received whatever item you sent.

If you do manage to get hold of him on the phone Mason, try not to lose your rag. Remember, you're trying to get your money back so letting rip at him won't do much good.

Have you checked the tracking status?

just told her the story and told her to get him to reply to my emails asap before i get the police and other people on to this.

In practice it's the exact opposite. After the money is withdrawn, there's nothing they can do, they're not allowed to withdraw money from a bank account, they are a service, nothing more. Disputes should be filed through the police in situations like this.

PayPal don't find in favour of the buyer if the sender has a RM Special Delivery slip with code proving the item was delivered.

That's not true. You agreed to the T&Cs when you signed up, I would suggest reading them :).

All they'll do is send in the debt collectors. You can run, but you can't hide...

Dude, take his name and address of the internet... That's not really cool.

Too late...

I'm on my way round there now to remove his ovaries using a pair of rusty pliers and a golf tee (rolls up sleeves).

Going back to something the OP said in the opening of this thread.

Am I the only one who has been using EBay for a long time now.
Has made many transactions both buying and selling.
Has a positive rating and has simply never had a problem with the service at all.
I accept Cheques & Paypal for anything I sell and I've nearly always used Paypal to make my purchases.
I can't be the only one who has had a trouble free time on EBay?

I've been using eBay since 2000, have made in excess of 1000 transactions (the largest of which was 5 figures) and have had only one 'issue' that I can recall. Some people are just unlucky I guess ;).

I don't think so.

I believe Paypal will get the money back from you if they suspect the buyer used funds that were less than kosher (such as a stolen card or a hacked account).

What, porkey bucks? :D

I'v had one small issue but that was nothing compared to what I read here

From what I've read on the net this is quite common with paypal and sending to unconfirmed addresses. Seems paypal always go with the buyer and just toss the seller to the side.

Hasnt happened to me yet but im sure it will with Paypal

Ebay is great for scammers as they can just buy an item through paypal and get their money back with no questions asked!! Great aint it!

Not if you have a valid tracking number that shows the item has been delivered.
