Help with H80i install.

Can you monitor the temps of your HDDs? If these rise as a result you know what to try next. You have plenty of case fans so the options are endless (256 counting 8 fans in total)

I only have 2 HDD.

One being a SSD which doesn't get hot so only 1 2tb hdd but those 2 front fans are keeping it cool:)

I do have a fan controller ,but the thermal pads suck on the FC

rad+2 standard fans is roughly 90mm (yes I had the tape out), giving me 20mm clearance on the block so I can see the logo fine. So get the tape out m8, but the distance between your socket and the case back looks plenty to me

lol....that some funny stuff right there dude.:D:p:D;)

ok, ok I'll try the 2 fans and see how it looks. I didn't use tape i did it free hand so it looked like it was going to cover block.

Thanks for the exact measurement matey:D

Could you "sandwich" the case between radiator and fan on the outside of case? Then you can use inside fan>radiator>case>outside fan. Think screw will be long enough to allow added thickness of case and still thread into radiator.

That's a idea, but I'll try 2 fans first, then 1 fan and see how temps are before trying other ways.

Thanks for that though doyll:)

Or be real brave and take a nibbler to the rear vent and open it up so there's no air resistance to slow down air coming out of radiator or second fan. ;)

I did that on my back exhaust and bottom intakes (case and PSU). Did help airflow and made things quiter too.
