Help with header footer problem?

Hello all, I know this isn't a major problem but I am completely stumped as to what it could be O.o
could anyone possibly help me out, basically when the window is shrunk the header and footer of the site seem to not meet the edges after going below 1280x1024...
Any help would be much appreciated.

Set min-width: 970px on your header and footer.
