Help with ID tags

This is probably more suited to the apple software thread for the iTunes part, but you guys wil get my drift...

As I keep upgrading to the newer version of win7 I have to go thru the whole process of changing album art, album/song names etc in iTunes. Is there not an easier way? Which I think mayne where mp3 tagging comes in?

Got loads of fabric cd and other comps that arent that common, other than doing it manually is there an easier way to get all my album art? Ive tried right clicking, 'get album art' in iTunes?

Appreciate any help on this

I use Tag&Rename to sort out my mp3 tags and album art for iTunes.

The main problem I had was having to make sure I selected compilation for some albums with various artists as iTunes/iPod treated the songs as seperate albums though should be able to pick up album art from various online services.

If it doesn't find the art then just use some online delivery service for music and you can then save it to "folder.jpg" in each folder and WMP should pick up the art in the folder. Tag&Rename can also save art in every song tag though I'm not sure if you need to do this.

Is this as a result of you losing your iTunes library? If so then it stores in your users profile folder somewhere, not an iTunes user myself but I've read that you can just copy this folder off and plop it into the newly built OS and iTunes will pick it up and start using it so that you're back at exactly the same point as before the OS install.
