Help with iTunes

I am just starting to use an iphone and itunes for the first time. When I am about to update the iphone, itunes tells me to back up my purchases (which are only on the phone and not the library). These are ebooks.

How do I copy them from the phone to my itunes library?

When the iPhone is plugged in to iTunes, if you go on the books tab and check the 'Sync Books' checkbox. It should copy them all across for you.
