Help with Laptop....

Hi all

another quickie.

Just got an Inspiron Laptop and when i shut the lid a bit it goes blank....but then when i pull it back open how do i get the screen back on

i am in the middle of formatting the HD

If the laptop goes into sleep mode, lifting the lid won't wake it up. Try pressing the power button once. Should wake it up.

Right click the desktop, go to properties and then screensaver, then power, you should be able tell it to do what you want there in advanced I think , I got mine to go onto standby when I shut the lid so I can basically keep it on all the time
