People have a lot of misconceptions about South London - you have to be careful wherever you are in London, North, South, East, West or Central.

Everywhere South of the river or just Kennington? :confused:

I echo lots of the advice already in the thread - in London you can get bad areas and good areas very close to each other. For instance - there are some nasty parts of Islington and Finsbury Park.

Balham all the way!

I recently moved into a 2/3 bed place, paying 1400 p/m.

Balham has both tube and rail links, 30 mins to Bank by tube, 12 mins by train to Victoria.
