Hi there I want some info regarding a motherboard and a router ,if i get this board would i need a network card to plug in a router ? or is there a socket on the board ? its the ASUS P5N-E SLI, NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI, Quad-Core ready, DDR2 800

That board has one gigabit network port on the motherboard so you dont need to buy any network cards to plug in your router.

Thxs so just a matter of plug and play ? there are no drivers needed with the router,so are they easy to set up ?

I have installed about 8 netgear wireless routers and a linksys and they are fairly easy to setup. You access the setup pages via Internet explorer or firefox, you enter an IP address into the browser address bar e.g 192.168.0.1 and this will take you to a user name/password popup you enter your details andcome to the setup pages. Just a matter of entering your details and setting up any advanced options you might want such was wpa security, fixed ip, etc

Have had zero problems with netgear routers and I have installed the 834, 834GT, and 834PN models and they were perfect. At present I have the powermax 834pn with mimo and it works very well.
