Hello. Currently I have a AMD 6000+ being cooled by the Swiftech H20-220 compact kit. This is a pump/block combo and a rad/res combo
At the moment all is great with this. very cool, very quiet.
What I would like to do next is water cool the graphics cards.
I have 2 GTX 260's (one being the 65nm and one being the 55nm)
After looking at full cover blocks etc. I have decided that i would like to go with the Swiftech MCW60R VGA block. I know this block only covers the GPU chip itself. So how will i go about cooling the RAM and VRMs on the graphics card?
I was thinking of getting the Swiftech GTX260 HeatSink. but as far as I can see this only fits the 65nm version of the 260GTX. Also I cant find anywhere that stocks it. And even if I did, what am I to do about cooling the 55nm version.
Also, I believe I am right in thinking that the Dual rad wont be able to keep up with the extra heat. I have no room to add another loop. And no room to add a extra Rad. So I think my best option will be to get a Triple Rad. I was going to go with the Swiftech MCR320-Res. As this would serve as a Res like my current Rad.
Have you used this Rad? How does it fair up? Do you think a separate Res and Rad would be better? What is the best Triple rad I could get that could cool 2 GPU's and a CPU? Also if i did go for the separate Res. What is the best drive-bay Res?
Thank you.
