Current system is a Q6600 and 4gb of ram on a gigabyte motherboard. Its served me well but is starting to show its age

It has one ssd for the o/s and programs, 3 hard drives and a dvdrw and a XFX ATI Radeon HD 5750 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card.

I want a new case, motherboard, cpu and ram. I'd like to keep the same graphics card if the motheboard supports it (although its 2011 so I suppose it can be replaced for not a lot)

Its mainly a web browser, movie server but occasionally gets a steam game or sims 3 played on it. So not high end graphics stuff (the Q6600 does pretty well tbh) Sometimes it will encode a dvd or rip one to mp4. lots of Sata connectors and room for hard drives inside, plenty of usb ports on the back and a couple on the front. Subtile looking case, no windows or wotnot.

What do you lot think? Budget wise, up to £500 but not if its not necessary.

A 4670 is more powerful than you need IMO. This will be about twice as fast as that you have now:

YOUR BASKET
1 x Asus H81M-K Intel Core i5 DIY Micro ATX Motherboard Upgrade Kit £209.98
Total : £219.58 (includes shipping : £8.00).

For a case you can use any ATX or micro-ATX case. I would suggest:
Fractal Define Mini (not sold by OcUK)
Carbide 200R above (full ATX size so larger than the Fractal)
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-029-AE&tool=5 (no first hand experience but appears decent for budget case)
But cases are dependent on personal taste so have a look around. You don't have difficult cooling requirements so anything will work.

Interesting, both quite far apart in price, I get what your saying about the 4670 but then the Q6600 has stood the test of time due to being pretty high up when I brought it. The gigabyte motherboard has quite a lot more connectivity, the fractal case looks nice (like the top ports) but the corsair looks very well vented.
