Help with new Broadband

Hi Guys,

Just moved into a new flat and had my BT line connected today and went to sign up for the Sky Max but broadband but they will only offer me a Sky connect with a speed of 512k, absoluted gutted tbh. 512k is nothing, i had VM at my last flat runing at 20Mb if i knew i wouldn't have moved into this one. But anyway my question is does anyone know of a decent provider of rubbish speed broadband? Also, the only plans i see have 40GB transfer limit any know of any higher becuase if you run flat out without turning the pc off that is a little over 7 days full downloading

What on earth are you downloading, 40gb+ in a week is the realm of piracy?

I telework as a dev and regularly upload / download from CVS, dev servers, etc

for high allowances on a normal bt non-llu line, you can't really beat entanet. they use resellers to sell their services. i'm with ukfsn. 19.99 a month. 30 gb peak (8am-10pm) / 300gb off peak. there are a few other resellers selling the same package for the same money such as adsl24, titan adsl, vivaciti, aquiss to name a few.....

but because there is no minimum contract, you have to pay for connection (47 quid i think) and get your own hardware.
