Help with new hard drive installation

I,ve curruntly got a Samsung 160gig sata hd in my system and it's full to the brim, I can order a 400gig drive but I really really don't want to reinstall everything again as I've have loads of music apps that takes me an age to setup with all the vst's and settings etc, is there any way I can copy the contents/image aross from my samung drive into a new bigger drive to save me a lot of hassle, would just copying the files acros from the samsung drive work ?

A 1,362KB file named ghost.exe is all you need to make a sector for sector copy from the old HD to the New Hd.

you say that all I need is "ghost.exe" where do I get that from ?

I think you have to buy the software from Norton... however this is the internet.
