When I was using CCC with my x1900 I set up hotkeys to switch between setups (1 has a single screen at 1680x1050, the other had dual screens cloned at 720p) I can't find a function to do this with my new 8800GTX, either in the standard nVidia control centre or in rivatuner - I'm sure it's possible - anyone point me in the right direction.

Wow - nobody? I'll go ahead and say it then - nVidia software really sucks - starting to regret leaving ATi like the cheap performance-whore I am :(

I would take perfomance over that 1 function anyday, but go back to ATI if you like.

I have used Ultramon and other apps over the years but Im 100% sure there is many ways to do it and you simply have not Googled well enough.

I only use TV-OUT to a TV to watch movies not Dual Displays for any other reason so cant input any more than above.

Riiiiiight - thanks for that  - does anyone know if there is any way to do this with the standard software? Ideally I don't want to have to run a 3rd party app. I had a look in Rivatuner and it talks about hotkeys, but I can't seem to find any options for it.

Failing that is there a way to attach settings to hotkeys through the windows hotkey setup? Surely someone must have done this - was a fantastic tool in CCC

Thats the trouble with Nvidia, they are only interested in speed, being the fastest, thats why they are cack at drivers, you could be playing a game for 5 mins then get the good old BSOD driver error on a Nvidia card, and Nvidia would just say, we couldn't give a ****, as while the game was running for that 5 mins before it BSOD, it was getting more frames than an ATi card, so we are the fastest. :p

Can't help on the hotkeys im afraid. :(

EDIT: After doing a bit of googling, this hotkey guide may help :-

I also read theres a program called Ultramon which you can use as well.

http://realtimesoft.com/ultramon/

You have to buy that though, unless you *cough* :p

Hope that helps. :)

Thanks for the link Loadsa - exactly what I was after - unfortunately it appears that that functionality has been taken out of the newest nVidia drivers for some unknown reason and is no longer available. Unless anyone knows where it is hiding now? The interface seems much reduced with almost no 'options' - like you said, apparently speed is more important than functionality :(

Is anyone still running the 'official' nVidia drivers (I'm on the 174 betas ATM) and can they confirm that hotkeys have been taken out of that version?
