Help with odd .rtf file.

Hey guys, I'm attempting to apply for job, however, the application form is in .rtf file format. The document contains things like check boxes and stuff (which should, in theory at least, "check" when clicked) however, I can't manipulate or modify these items.

I'm using openoffice at the minute, and have tried various different versions of the software with no luck.

This is really driving me mad. I've contacted the DWP, informing them that rtf files don't support checkboxes, and all I get is "ummm....yeah".
