Help with picking case

Hi there

Im building a new gaming system next month and cant decide on a case. It will have the following spec:

I7 6700k
Asus Z170 mobo
32 gig ram
Samsung 1tb SSD
GTX 1070 (when its available)
Corsair AX760
be quiet! Dark Rock 3

I have been looking at the following cases:
be quiet! Silent Base 800
Fractal Design Define R5

Ive always loved Corsair cases but there doesnt seem to be a new version of the 650D, the full towers are just too big.

Budget is upto £150, it must have a side window and room for one optical drive. The fans will be replaced with be-quiet silent wings 2.

Black would be the preferred colour. I'm going for a black and red design inside.

Thanks for your reply but neither of these cases are capable of fitting an optical drive.

Phanteks Pro M - mid tower, one 5.25 front drive bay, good Phanteks design and features, nice price.

They've just released a revision with a full acrylic side panel, but it doesn't appear to come in black.

Lol. I'm a tidy builder but that's just a crazy case. Looks awesome, but might do my head in wiring it.

i went for the corsair 230t, great case, cheap price, doesnt weigh a ton either. plenty of space inside.

How do phanteks compare in build quality to corsair?

Very well... Lose the optical drive and get an external one for the rare occasion you actually use it and you have more choice.

I've got the tempered glass Phanteks Enthoo Evolv, first Phanteks case and very happy with the build quality.

R5, good case but not exactly exciting to say the least.

True, but I'm more interested in it being silent and understated to be honest. Just not sure which is better between the R5 and the bequiet

Phantek cases all day long if you can justify the price i would love that case looks very easy to build a nice clean build, it will be the next case i buy

Thanks for the suggestion but no optical drive. I want a bluray player in it. I know everyone says to have an external one but with my office being in the kids toy room, the less stuff outside the case the better lol.
