Can I have some thoughts on these purchases I am about to make. I need to get the best PC I can for £450. I have a case already and a graphics cards, just need these items. Can anyone tell me if there are better ones available?

I'd suggest not skimping on the PSU, the Huntkeys don't seem too bad but there is still a certain element of doubt with a cheap PSU. The system below isn't as fast at stock but will almost certainly overclock to the same sort of levels and probably further as well as offering significantly more hard drive space, Raptors are very expensive for what they actually offer.

I would go for that except for the fact that I am really not sure about overclocking and my parents (who are part funding these purchases) don't want me to overclock seeing as my last Processor over heated ><

Surely if I take out the raptor hardrive and just have the 320gb that would be ok a hardrive and then I could invest the money in to a best PSU?
I do not need a huge amount of hard drive space and once I get more moeny I could add another.

That would also work, overclocking is very simple but if you or they aren't comfortable with it then that is fair enough. The other point to make is that if you don't have a 64bit OS then you won't get access to the full 4gb of Ram, you will see around 3.5gb of it. :)

Ok that sounds good I will go with that

And I can upgrade to a 3ghz processor with 10p left =D
