help with raid plz

Hey all. Ive been fiddling with a gigabyte ep45-ud3, trying to set up a raid 0 array. realy not having much luck. I have istaled two identical hard disks, set the bios to raid\ide, after that im lost. the manual sayes that during post a message will apear telling u to press ctrl +i to enter the raid bios to configer an array, but i dont see any such message. any ideas??????

What ports are the drives connected to, If your connected to the Intel ports then you will need to enable the RAID in the First line of the Integrated Periphials screen. (Thsi can be changed to ACHI or RAID).

they are connected to the yellow intel ones controled by the south bridge. the top line in the intregrated peripherals is sata ahci mode this alows me to set ahci or disabled. i have set the onboard sata\ide ctl mode to raid\ide. different bios maybe??
