I've recently been given a computer to fix (which wont boot due to a number of errors) and both me and the owner have decided the best bet is to do a full format and start from scratch.
Ive pulled his hard drive out and its in my pc at the moment so I can take the documents and emails off it - but I cant work out how to get a copy of the address book from outlook express.
As soon as he asked me to do it, I thought it was going to be a real problem - as I cant actually boot from the hard drive - so I cant export the address book using outlook express. Does anyone know if the address book is stored somewhere on the hard drive - or when I export it does windows compile it and create a file?
If so - how can I retrieve this guys address book from an un-bootable hard drive?
Help really appreciated!
EDIT: I cant seem to find where the emails are stored either - does anyone know where these will be?
Normally I would google this, but I believe the ocuk'ers can provide some better advice
