Was wondering if anyone had any advice for the following rust example?

door_rust.jpg

I'd rather treat it and prevent it worsening.. I think previous owner had parked on a cambered road and opened the door (bottom edge).

Thanks in advance!

Assume that door is just slightly open and not a horribly fitting one?

Cut it back, apply some treatment then prime and paint the area if you like - it's unlikely to look decent but its such a small area you might get away with it. Alternatively cut it back, treat it then get a Chips away type place to spray and blend it

The door is straight, just looks warped because of the potato camera and dodgy angle I took it at i think

It's only noticeable to me tbh because I know its there when I polish/wax but I suspect it will worsen given time.
I've literally never dealt with rust before so will perhaps watch some YouTube videos, thanks for your help.
