Help with Speakers

Ok guys i got these the other day: Philips SPA2602 5.1 Surround Sound Speaker System
The problem is that it only uses RCA connections for the output. To plug it into my pc i use RCA to 3.5mm jacks. If i want to plug it into my xbox for example i can't because the speakers don't have Optical out. So what can i do guys?

In terms of using the optical, not much without a convertor costing a lot more than the speakers.

I believe the xbox cable has two RCA jacks for stereo audio out and you should be able to get a cable to convert the RCA output from the xbox into a 3.5mm single jack to go into the speakers. OCUK don't appear to sell the right cable but you're looking for a RCA stereo female to 3.5mm male cable.

But then i could only use two sets of speakers at a time?

Yes, the Xbox only outputs surround in a digital format which those speakers won't accept.

No need for a converter like that though as the Xbox can already output RCA stereo from its output cable natively. A simple cheap RCA female to 3.5mm male cable would do the same thing for xbox 360 usage.

Im quite gutted i can only use two of my speakers with it... Is there no way atall i can include the sub?
Unless i hook up the SUB/Central speaker by RCA, would that work?

The layout is something like
Red/White
FR/FL
SR/SL
CE/SUB

tbh, theres not really any point plugging the sub in.... with a 4.25" driver its gonna be more low mids than bass... :L
