I'm looking for a new system that will play the latest games such as UT3 and CoD4. I plan on keeping my case, monitor, keyboard + mouse and possibly my IDE hdds, although i'm guessing i'm better off going with a cheap 80gb SATA hdd.
My budget is around £300 (inc shipping and VAT).

Thanks. :)

A little bit over budget, I built basically this exact spec 3 weeks ago - been playing CoD4 at full details @ 1280x1024 without a single hitch.

Other option is to swap the gfx card for a 3850 if you want to get the total down to under £300.

Thanks for posting guys. I should have said in my post but my budget is £310 max. Those MoBos only have one IDE connector so i cant have my HDDs and dvd drives together. So I think its best if i buy a 80gb SATA and use my usb external HDD. As for the graphics card, i would prefer going with a cheaper model until i have enough cash for a 8800.

would this be ok?

Sorry for messing you guys about.

You'll want the 3850 or 8800GT to be able to that and very well. I'm not so sure on how the 7600GT will hold up for that. If you can then save up just a little more you will be able to get a better system for not so much dearer.
